Mary Ellen Bickler Founder

Mary Ellen Bickler is the Broker/Owner of Brown Bickler & Co for over 20 years and before that was a partner at Hanford Noble.

She has over 30 years of experience and has numerous designations including a CRS ( Certified Residential Specialist) which is held by only a very small group of Realtors.

The GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative).

She also has won the prestigious Five Star Professional award from Westchester Magazine for 10 consecutive years.

Mary Ellen is an avid tennis player and golfer in her spare time. She enjoys music and hiking as well as exploring new places on extended road trips.

Helping buyers and sellers navigate through the sales process is a challenge she enjoys. We treat our clients like family and their happiness is our greatest reward.

Bill Newell Office Manager

Bill Newell has been an Associate Broker since 2001 and is the office manager of Brown Bickler & Co.  He joined the firm’s predecessor company Hanford Noble LLC in 1998. 

Bill has been a buyer agent, listing agent, or co-listing agent on several hundred deals and has been a consulting agent on hundreds of additional deals.  This provides clients with the experience they need to achieve their real estate goals of buying or selling a home. 

In addition to representing clients throughout all of Westchester County, Bill has done work for clients in areas ranging from Brooklyn Heights, Manhattan, The Bronx, Putnam County, parts of Dutchess County, and has supported the firm’s work in Fairfield County.

Bill brings his extensive and significant market, analytical, business, and negotiating expertise to his real estate work representing clients. 

His background in large scale securities negotiations is knowledge available to his clients, as is his ability to analyze and value assets, and also his managerial expertise in moving deals through to a successful close.
